"Zoe in the Night" follows the thoughts of a fictional character, Zoe, as she stares out a window dreaming of another life, only to be upset with her reality.  It draws upon Chopin's nocturnes for inspiration, but employs contmporary scales and meters to bring it into the 21st century.
