L'inferno Etudes uses scenes from the 1911 silent film L'inferno as its video sources. The video for each of the 5 movements are abstracted to created kaleidoscopic images of what they once were. The music draws inspiration from the imagery and effects that are associated with the video, while incorporating different genres, including contemporary, jazz, and rock. All processes are done in Max/MSP and Jitter.
