"I Drew a Blank"  was written in collaboration with choreographer Michelle Cuddy as part of the Reflected Light senior dance recital. Most of the sound samples come from the first spoken part heard in the beginning, though there are a few extras. Extreme manipulation including granular synthesis, looping, feedback, and filtering help to create an uneasy atmosphere. The work is meant to exoke the moment when one is speaking but then forgets what to say and the anxiety that is associated with it.
