Golden... is inspired by the Fibonacci sequence and all that comes out of it.  The first movement focuses on the golden sprial, the second focuses on the golden ratio, and the third focuses on the sequence itself.  The numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, and 8 are taken directly out of the sequence and appear all over the work, whether it is text, pitch set, number of voices, groupings of notes, etc.
